Hi Therese! We are curious about why you bought a pair of QuietFrames?
I am very sensitive to impressions and identify incredibly well with the description HSP (highly sensitive personality).
I see and register everything that happens around me, take in impressions and am infected by the emotional states of others. I have learned to sift through information in order to concentrate, but since my brain notes everything around me, it takes a lot of energy and breaks my focus anyway.
I am also very sensitive to light and have found that it is nice to also have my QuiteFrames at home to remove disturbing light around me.
If I turn off the screen, I can relax more and instead focus on the computer and what is in front of me. I have been able to remove sounds before, but not all visual impressions.

You've had the glasses for about six months now. Have QuietFrames met your expectations?
My QuietFrames have really met my expectations and even exceeded them! Now they have become a signal to the brain that when I put them on I automatically become calmer and find it easier to focus. It's like they are a trigger for the brain in a positive way.

What happens when you have QuietFrames compared to when you don't have them?
I get less distracted when I use my QuietFrames, which means I get more done during the day. Since I don't have to be affected by what's happening around me to the same extent, I don't get as tired after the workday when I use QuietFrames. Although I love interacting with people around me, it also takes a lot of energy, especially when I need to focus. Now I can control more when I want to be social and when I want to be in my focus bubble. Then it also becomes more fun when I do choose to be social.

Do you use QuietFrames together with any other focus tools?
I have purchased noise-canceling headphones that block out sound better than the headphones I had before, and I have found that to be a positive experience along with my QuietFrames.

Is there anything that has surprised you?
I have been surprised by how my body adjusts to relax and focus when I now put on my QuietFrames.

Do you recommend QuietFrames to others? If so, who?
I have recommended QuietFrames primarily to colleagues, where I have experienced that they also have had difficulty blocking out visual impressions. They have also been able to try the glasses on and even though I have prescription glasses that don't exactly fit them, they have still had a chance to experience what it would be like to use them.
